For me Nha Trang is easily the best beach town I've visited in Vietnam. The people are friendly, the beaches are perfect and during the day you can have the beach practically all to yourself. The reason being is that the Vietnamese do not want to be darkened by the sun, therefore they go to the beach early in the morning and are generally gone by 8:00 or 9:00 and back when the sun is low in the sky. Nha Trang has the lowest level of humidity in Vietnam. It has several islands to explore and one day tours that can be arranged at your hotel. We stayed at the Perfume Grass Hotel for $12 & $15 US per night. We loved it, I recommend it. The place next door was $10 Us per night. There's plenty of inexpensive rooms in Nha Trang. |
