"Ancient Town" Hoi An Town is a small town 30km south of Da Nang. It is one of the oldest cities in Southeast Asia. During the 15th and 16th Centuries it was one of the major trading ports for goods from the west. Today, its streets are lined with shops and restaurants catering to the mass of tourists. Hoi An still remains nearly intact with a combination of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese architecture. In my opinion, it is one of the must-see spots in Vietnam. |
